New Regional Office in the USA

The World Scientific Group has reaffirmed its presence in the US by setting up a new regional corporate office in California.

"We would like to announce that we will add regional responsibilities to the World Scientific Publishing Company in the US. These new functions include corporate affairs, sales, marketing and editorial, etc," said Professor Kok-Khoo Phua, Chairman of the World Scientific Group.

"We have been successfully driving our regional business from WSPC US since 1986. Therefore, the central role of the office remains and will in fact be enhanced by the new regional staff based in California," Prof. Phua stressed.

The new California office is located at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Enterprise Center in Mountain View, at the heart of the world-renowned Silicon Valley. It will be instrumental in the company's efforts to establish and maintain good relationships with leading academics and schools in the West Coast, acquire world-class projects, and further promote WSPC's brand name. It will also play a role in supporting the WSPC Group's other regional offices around the world and in identifying future markets. Over the last 20 years, the regional office in the US has been critical in helping to identify, establish, and support new WSPC sales subsidiaries in the UK, China, Taiwan, India, and Singapore.

About the WSPC Group in the US

In the Open Rating report, a supplier performance rating evaluation conducted by Dun & Bradstreet, WSPC scored 91 (out of 100) in the overall rating. The figures have made the WSPC Group one of the leading premier STM publishers in North America.
