The key role of the Database / Information Executive is to lead the database department, which supports the Marketing department, in their direct marketing efforts and information gathering.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide database and analytical support for the Marketing team in their direct marketing efforts
- Take lead on augmentation and build-up of data sources based on publishing/marketing needs
- Continually work on the clean-up of existing data and ensure that data is fresh, current and as enhanced as possible to ensure the most effective use of all the information available
- Assign projects to Research unit in Chennai, as well as temporary staff and interns
Position Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science or a related field
- 1 to 2 years' experience in data management and manipulation of databases
- A strong understanding of the fundamentals of databases and good SQL experience
- Attention to details is required
- Familiarity in academic research environment
