Brief job description:

- Directs the development and implementation of promotional plans for books and journals in various subject areas
- Directs and oversees the compilation, analysis and evaluation of market data/ intelligence
- Takes the lead role in helping shape World Scientific's corporate profile with authors, agents and the media
- Oversees increased web presence and enhance the company's digital marketing strategy
- Conducts weekly staff meetings and ensures follow-up on issues
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the overall Marketing Plan which will focus on meeting organisational objectives
Job requirement:
- Good Degree / Post-grad Degree in Business or Marketing / MBA
- Minimum 10 years of Sales Management and Marketing Experience;
- Experience within Academic/ STM Publishing highly preferred
- Proven track record in sales and marketing management with P&L responsibilities
- Technically savvy, able to grasp and leverage latest technology tools and trends
- Strong communication, training and team-building skills
- Existing customer base and media contacts is a plus
